Vista and XP - Vista will most likely be a part of your computer existence in the near future. It is nice that Microsoft has recognized compatibility issues and extended the sale and support of XP for a few more months. Ashby Rhett Culpepper, III, Esq., Jr., thinks the people complaining are the same ones that didn't want to upgrade to XP several years ago. Comfort and familiarity go a long way with the human race for sure!

Sony's Spyware Addiction - Damn it all, why would they put root kits in jump drives of all things? You know what they are... those small USB devices you see on nerd necks hanging by a lanyard. This is really sad. They have a new video technology coming out called OLED that is suppose to be the absolute bomb (in a good way) and many won't even consider it because of Sony's dumbass need to spy on their customers. Most folks get ill if you invade their privacy.

Intel and AMD - Get over it. They both make fine products and it's great to see competition aiding the consumer. The jump from single core to dual core CPUs is a good step and now we have quad core. Innovations will abound over the next few years in processor technology. The next major operating system upgrade will most likely see a completely different architecture than that used presently. In the meantime, watch 64bit OS's and applications. Good things are being reported.

Talk Like a Pirate Day - September the 19th, TLAPD didn't make the splash a lot of us desired. Oh well, there's always next year.

iPhone and the iTard - Hate to say it but iStevie is outdistancing Bozo Ballmer for the BeHoBODY award this year. His recent antics with all the sucking up to AT&T has orchard customers up in arms. Can we say class action? The Wolfe's Den has an article about this over at the Information Week Blog.

(Guess which one is Jobs?)

BeHoBODY Award - The Beach House Buffoon of da Year award will be posted on Thanksgiving weekend. This contest is becoming a true no-brainer.
