50 Computing Tips

Celebrities that are geeks? Check out Computerworld. There are some shockers included in the list. Interesting. Geekdom or nerdiness is everywhere and technology finds a new way to embrace us almost daily. While there are bad guys in the tech business (ever noticed bad guys are everywhere?) it is refreshing to see people doing things positive with this 8th wonder of the world.

PCMag.com has issued their 50 top computing tips for the year. Here you can find how to convert to USB 2.0, how to make a recovery partition, what not to buy over the holidays, updates for a slow computer, etc. This is a good site that has great depth. They tend not to use annoying popups, but the site is populated with static ads. Hey, so is your local newspaper. Check it out. It's bookmarked at the beach house. There's great info here!

About yesterday's post: Yes, Flexiril had been taken earlier in the day, around noon, for an aching back. Please note the time of the post. No, I will not retract anything. If you don't like what was said remember our free speech policy in this country and deal with it. I like women a lot, but not Hillary. Dissenters please stop and I'll do my best to keep negative comments to a minimum. Political issues belong on more qualified sites anyway. Not here.

Keep flaming me and I will post a list of remarks she has made during her political career and some of you will stroke out. Let's have peace and be glad we live in a great country that endorses freedom. Besides, she's been mentioned here too many times.

"We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it."
