Machine Name: Vivaldi

I've owned 5 Toshiba laptops. With one exception they are all still working. The one exception was knocked off a building by a co-worker into a parking lot. Don't worry, he's stiill in good shape although throwing him off the building did momentarily cross my mind. But hey, accidents happen and he really felt horrible. He was all about paying me, but I knew he had no money. We still remain friends. Here is #5. Verdana and Uncle Snake ordered it then called me and told me about it. I won't lie. There were tears in my eyes when I opened it. Overwhelming. Yes, I know pride is a sin, but gratitude isn't. Thanks so very, very much. Click on the picture for a larger view.

It's a monster. This will help in so many ways. I've learned so much about Windows 7. Extremely powerful operating system that is screaming fast. This machine interfaces with networks easier than any I've used period. The 18.4" TruBrite screen is easy on the eyes and the keys are actually large enough for my fat fingertips. Built in numeric keypad too. This could go on and on. The name? Most machines on my network are named after musicians. Used to be named after robots, but wider variety with people in the music business.

In a few days I'll have pictures and specs on the laptop this one replaced. It's in great shape and will make someone a fine computer. Lot of extras. My price will be reasonable. It's name? Zappa. Now I must return to work and install all my arcane network voodoo on Vivaldi. Nothing illegal mind you, just tricks of the trade. Also have to find my copy of The Four Seasons. It just seems appropriate that these 4 program music violin concertos be on this PC. If you click on the link you can read about Vivaldi and hear the music. Bet you will recognize some of it even if not familiar with Antonio Vivaldi.

Again, thank you for this tremendous extension of my nerdiness.
