More Information

... FIRST WINTER EVENT OF THE SEASON EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY...

.AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND AN ASSOCIATED STRONG... ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL SWING SOUTH INTO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING. THIS WILL SPREAD SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE MIDSOUTH... WITH A SNOW AND SLEET MIX SOUTH OF A WEST HELENA ARKANSAS TO TUPELO MISSISSIPPI LINE. GUSTY WINDS BEHIND THE COLD FRONT MAY ALSO LEAD TO SOME BLOWING SNOW ON THURSDAY.

The high today should be a little above freezing. That'll surprise me. We do have a chance for snow so be careful during your evening commute. Try to take a few minutes off during the day to visit the grocer and stock essentials. That way you will avoid the massive brawl in the bread aisle after work. Stay warm. Stay safe. Peace out!

trust me Ash, Dick Rice is losing his mind...even as we speak, so to speak. You stay warm, too, Dock. Friday and Saturday nights are gonna feel like North Dakota, not north Mississippi
