Go Google! And a Word or Two About the Thought Police

While doofus Steve Ballmer is busy at Microsoft doing his utmost to make our lives miserable, the boys and girls at Google are improving their contributions to computerese with more innovations concerning their search engine. You can read about it at InformationWeek. "Google's Web search now returns relevant videos, images, news, maps, and books, alongside Web site links," says Thomas Claburn in a well written article. Check it out and read about some of the good guys.

An email was received from someone dissatisfied with one of my comments in yesterday's rant. My calling Erica Hill a smoking babe did not seem appropriate to Anonymous. Well, my take on this is that if she's a hottie what's wrong with that? I've been a fan of Erica since her days as tech news reporter at TechTV. She's a self professed parrothead and I just don't think she'd take offense. Besides, I am not here to be politically correct. If the the liberal creeps had their way our use of adjectives and adverbs would cease. You can read about this in Orwell's 1984. So the post won't be edited. Best I remember we have freedom of speech in the US of A.

Hang in there the weekend is almost here.

“Political correctness does not legislate tolerance; it only organizes hatred”
~Jacques Barzun
