Running in the Shadows

Just finished watching the Soundstage Stevie Nicks special for the second time tonight. She is so smooth. At times she rocks and then, like the video below, there's almost a mystic quality about her well produced performances. This is not a new tune by any means. It has certainly held up through the years. So has Stevie. Still a doll. Your time will be well spent if you grab a cup of coffee, tea, etc. Kick back, watch and listen to 10 minutes of ear and eye candy that is pure magic. If you have headphones use them and crank it up. Take the phone off the hook, put your feet up, and become steeped in an almost surreal experience. BTW, this song will be in Part II which is scheduled to air on Soundstage next Saturday.

FYI, the great guitar player is a veteran named "Waddy" Watchel. He's been with Stevie's solo performance group for many years. He is also featured on several Warren Zevon tunes, God rest his Soul. The people that put this together did a great job and thank goodness they didn't stop every 5 minutes to beg for money.

Enjoy Sunday, The beach house needs your prayers. My constant struggle to improve needs all the help available. Yet, this is so very very small compared to that which circles around us. Pray for our country...

"Beauty is a harmonious relation between something in our nature and the quality of the object which delights us."
