Fake Anti-Virus

If you find that your computer won't perform because the desktop has locked up with a page declaring that a virus has infected your machine don't believe it. These desktop hijackers lockup your PC and hold it hostage. Then they will sell you the cure through a fake anti-virus program. It is likely they will sell you down the river by gathering all your personal information including credit card numbers. Then they sell this information to other bad guys. These creeps are the scum of the earth. Read more about it at the news round up via ArsTechnica. This is a great site full of information and the week's news wrap is always interesting. Check it out.
