AVG 8.0 Glitch Soon to be Corrected

If you have noticed a problem with AVG 8.0 Free Edition Anti-virus update procedure, please be aware that Grisoft, the owner of AVG products, is working on the problem. The message mentions something about a ".bin" file or you may not see anything. Even though the system tray icon is marked with a red and white X your system is still protected. They've had problems for several weeks and will correct it. An update issue happened one time before several years ago and they corrected it making update downloads even faster. Stick with them. This is THE ABSOLUTE BEST free anti-virus utility on the planet. Makes Norton/Symantec look like a DOS program. It's worth spending the money for the full version too!
