Google rocks. They now offer free real time stock quotes. Read about it at the Official Google Blog. You can find the quotes at Google Finance. This is a great online utility and it's nice that they are sticking it to sites like the hateful jerks at the Wall Street Urinal...uh, Journal. Don't like the WSJ since they blocked a link of mine last year. To be in the finance business they sure haven't figured out the internet. Otherwise they wouldn't dis free publicity. The beach house likes people linking.
It's really super that down through the years people have gotten in the habit of visiting on a regular basis. Thank you very much for your continued support. I read EVERY email and note all comments. So nice to know that people are interested in the ramblings, possum lore, tech news and southern flavor of this site. Certainly I encourage people to recommend Cybersouth. It's apparent that new visitors show up because this site is usually in the top three over at Google Search.
During the past week or so several posts have been made about my intense dislike of Obama. While it's known that I am a conservative it does my heart good that the Republican, Democratic and other parties exist. My distaste of bleeding heart liberals runs deep and organizations like the ACLU, yellow press, etc., should fear if ever the title 'Emperor of the Known Universe' is bestowed upon me. This is a position that is not likely to be offered anytime soon. From time to time it is mentioned that folks that endorse such institutions should find some other site. They won't find any sympathy here. At my age it is a sure bet that opinions won't change.
