What's in a Word? Two Zeros?

The human race is amazing. Merriam-Webster has selected "w00t" as the word of the year 2007. Come on guys, is l33t-speak really part of the English language? More akin to Esperanto methinks. This is the result of some type of voodoo balloting that is vague. Nate Anderson has the story over at ArsTechnica. His take on this weird selection reflects my view of a strange choice that has to be due to heavy internet voting of some sort. Some of the other top 10 candidates are as strange. All I can say at this point is...w00t!

While posting this I have hulu up and running. Episode 15, Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica is playing with very limited commercial interruptions. Tried full screen, but it pixellated some so it was returned to their standard frame. Looks good, sounds good and no glitching. CPU usage is around 5-10% with this Operton 180. Hope they work out the full screen problem and it may be settings on this machine. Will keep you posted. BTW, they also run some movies (The Jerk, Conan, etc.) and WKRP in Cincinnati is also available. The awesome episode about the Thanksgiving Day turkey promotion is in the lineup!

Stay casual out there. Christmas is just around the corner. Local highways and byways are full of the crazies that have this compulsive need to drive during the holidays and bad weather. Don't become a statistic with the MVB.
