Catfish Jumpin? Doubt It

It's hot and humid in the Deep South. This may be the understatement of the year. Have many projects to finish inside and out. Riding lawn mower is so close to being usable, have a brand new garage door opener in the box, the wax for the truck can be used in direct sunlight, and the new 75' water hose is 5 ply and should be a nice addition to the pressure washer when it comes time to climb up and down the ladder and finish washing the house. All of this is important, but not having a stroke or heart attack is on my mind as well. Ahhhh, to be young again and laugh at the weather, work all day, party all night then get up and do it again. Sweet. Well, maybe this time around I'd leave the partying to someone else.

Sitting here watching the sunrise forced me to step outside the door for a moment. It looks like a good day to clean house and work on building a PC. Muggy won't even begin to describe the humidity. It may be hot in the summer by we sure do have nice, extended springs and autumns most years. Spring rocks. Everything wakes up and the world becomes active. Am I beginning to sound like Whitman, Thoreau, Sandburg, Dick Rice? Humpf! Long term memory might not be so bad after all. Have a pleasant Sunday and remember me in your prayers as you are graced with His presence in your house of worship.

"Summer has set in with its usual severity."
~Samuel Taylor Coleridge
