Act of Kindness

EDIT: Corrections were made at 3:15PM. My apologies to Chunky River Harley for an incorrect negative comment. It has definitely been changed and now reflects the positive nature of Meridian's Harley dudes.

This past weekend some friends of mine biked to the coast. Nice trip down and enjoyable stay in the fine town of Biloxi (Pronounced Beh-luxi, not with an "ox" in it!), MS. Two large Kawasakis, a Suzuki Volusia and a Yamaha V-Star were the mode of transportation. On the Monday return trip home, the lady rider on the Yamaha picked up a nail in the tire and this is not tolerable. Using fix a flat purchased at a ridiculous 6 dollars from the "Criminal Convenience Store" probably owned by Baboob they headed north again. On top of all this it was raining and the temperature scorching. With rain beating down the rainsuits became sweltering insulation as they crippled into Meridian, Ms.

After seeking help from several local shops, with the exception of Chunky River Harley where people were helpful and polite but didn't have the tire, they had no luck because it was closing time and everyone turned their backs on them not even wanting to sell a tire and installation. Can we say sorry bastards? Okay then can we say sorry SORRY bastards? Then Meridian Cycle entered the picture after a referral from the Harley guys. They welcomed the distraught 4 riders in with open arms, changed the tire at a very decent price and were sincere in helping out a lady in distress. This is my kind of place. Not many of them exist anymore. Champion dudes arising to the occasion to help out a fellow human being. That is some kind of fine!

Hats off to you Meridian Cycle. When this page finishes its rebuild there will be a permalink to your stylish website. Thanks for helping out a lady on a V-Star! Thanks for being decent folk.
