It's a Windows kinda' world. Apple is making concerted efforts to gain a share of the marketplace and their new operating system, Tiger, reflects this attitude. Sorry, slow overpriced hardware is not a way to attract customers. Besides, is there anyone that really likes Steve Jobs? Some folks genuinely like Bill Gates.
