Protection, It's a Good Thing

Still working on an extended post that will be the beach house recommendations of protection software freeware style. This has turned up many interesting facts and my main concern is not to duplicate. The ability to schedule scans at different times is also important. Everything will be included in the Links area to the right on a permanent basis. However, this post will involve all the nuances of installing, scheduling, what to scan, when to scan, etc. Various download sites will be recommended as will the homepages of all utilities reviewed. This has become more complicated by the day and I still recommend hardware firewalls for networks that need protection of critical data. Monowall is being tested and several should be in place on networks in the area before the end of the month. Will keep you posted.

If you are local be careful out there in the fog. The life you save may be my own.
