Boxing Day, v2.0.1

Visited BestBuy today and thought time had turned back to last Friday or Saturday. People were everywhere and it finally dawned on me, when I saw the return line, why there were so many people in the store. Folks in England call today, the 26th, Boxing Day. Traditionally you take down the tree, box up the decorations and wait for next year. That's a good idea. We should make 'Boxing Day' a national holiday and adhere to this concept. Okay, that's a pipe dream. Probably best for me to accept that in the USA we call the 26th "Return Day".

It's still Christmas at the beach house and will remain that way through Friday...at least in the evenings. Happy "Return Day" everyone!

"Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man."
