Everyone is sure to have an opinion about this but not everyone will voice their outrage or opinion publicly.
I for one don't believe that these people are in their right minds. They have a sickness of their own- prejudice.
I have served in the military and fought for their right to voice their opinion.
In my opinion if you cannot stop and realize these guys and gals are dying for you to have the right to voice your opinion.
Besides, you call yourselves christian and there is not a single thing you profess that is Christ like.
I am just calling the kettle black as I see it.
There is an old saying that folks that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
I wonder if Jesus was around if he would write these people's names in the dirt for all to see.
With that said, I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Easter and remember why we really celebrate this holiday.
Let us all try and live each day and think what would Jesus do before we speak or act.

Yeah kinda shocked me too. The no comments thing. While there will always be something happening to show me that I haven't "Seen It All",what some people can come up with hardley
shocking, just stupid.

I read the item first here, then began receiving emails - from Ohio, Tennessee, California, Indiana, Iowa, and elsewhere in Texas.

Those folks at (from) Westboro sure don't represent anything we out here associate with faith, religion, or even morality. Seems like a cult, acting out mind control programming - but like both of you, I'd not stone the people greenhouse even when I agree they are very disturbed. I'ts good to read the common sense, appropriate comments here today.

I really didnt have anything good to say about those people and so I just refrained from commenting, but something is really wrong with those people from westboro. Thats all I want to say about those people.

Mom taught me if you can't say something nice, don't say anything. That being said, I always say, if you can't say something nice, come sit next to me.

Those so-called Christians are forgetting one major passage of scripture which reads, "judge not, lest ye be judged." Ultimately, it is NOT the opinion of a few freakish people that matter in regard to these folks' dearly departed and defender of our freedoms, but what God thought of them.

There's my two cents, and I'll stick to it.

Thanks everyone. Great responses and certainly renews my faith in the sanity of good citizens. Tried to rethink and be more forgiving of these idiots, just not there yet. I'll work on it. With the current Administration being what it is, I really shouldn't be so judgmental. Gosh, wouldn't it be nice if this bunch of misguided zealots was out main national concern!
