Tech Desires

The subject yesterday promoted some conversation later about advancements in technology. Plasma arc speakers have been on the drawing board for years, and the medium has come along at a steady pace. There are many things we'd all like to see that started in the maze of dreams and realities called science fiction. Tom's Hardware just published a very interesting article about sci-fi inspired things we would like to see made available. This is a good site that has a mass of knowledge. If you haven't visited, it might behoove you to click on this link and take a look. If you get a chance tell me what you think about the desires, predictions, Tom's site, etc.

1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right; when he states that something is impossible, he is probably wrong.
2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic
