Privacy? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Privacy!!!!

On November 3, 2005, it was mentioned that the Sony rootkit was creating problems for users. This is still not over. These jerks care nothing about the due rights of their fellow human beings. I hope the State of Texas and the EFF burn their asses. I have stopped buying their products. Everyone should stop. Send them a message that they have no right whatsoever to violate our privacy.

Folks, you let them get away with it and this will only encourage others. Want an example? Get out your Microsoft EULA (End Users License Agreement) that you agreed to when you installed Windows and read it. Now run Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and look at the MRUs listed in Negligible Objects. Bet most are different parts of Windows reporting into Microsoft about what you are doing with their software. You don't own this software. It's a conditional lease.

Read further about all this in Robert McMillan's informative article at PCWorld. Thanks Red Dragon for a great link. Get ready, for tomorrow the evil Yahoo will once again be exposed. Happy New Year everyone.

"Big Brother in the form of an increasingly powerful government and in an increasingly powerful private sector will pile the records high with reasons why privacy should give way to national security, to law and order, to efficiency of operation, to scientific advancement and the like."
