Green Friday

The luck o' the Irish to ya! The Celtic Woman CD is filling the house with Gaelic sounds. Suil A Run is currently making my ears very happy. This CD has been #1 on the international charts for 52 weeks! I love the new tunes, but the traditionals have such a haunting presence, conjuring images of Leprechauns and Druidic Mages meeting on green rolling fields under the full moon. And no, I haven't had a toast to Eire this morning.

This is a traditional day of festivity with good food and drink of all sorts abounding. Keep it festive - DON'T DRIVE DRUNK. Call a cab, or a friend, even walk. Just remember; the life you save may be my own.

"Humans are amphibians--half spirit and half animal. . . . As spirits they belong to the eternal world, but as animals they inhabit time."
-C.S. Lewis
