Gimme peaches n pears

Well, it's apparent iPod is a success. It''s amazing people will buy these midfi devices. Apple will make millions, maybe billions, even gadzillions on the replacement of batteries at $100.00+ a pop. Creative's Zen Xtra has a button you push to release the battery cover so the owner can easily perform this task. This device has much better sound than the iPod and will use any media platform. You can even put data on it.

Any company that increases its profits 260% in one year with a very mediocre product is screwing the public. Read about it at ArsTechnica. BTW, the ArsTechnica people like Apple it seems. Sorry, I just don't like overrated, overpriced computers using two year old technology. Their machines are nice enough, but let's tell the truth; a new Windows machine for half the price will devour an Apple.

Time for coffee. We are in for a beautiful weekend weatherwise. Just hope it stays quiet around the beach house. Beagle, Verdana, Mudslingr & Uncle Snake - enjoy your visit, have a great time and please be careful. Wish you were here or I wuz thar.
