If Steve Jobs ever, from some unGodly reason, shows up at the beach house I will bitch slap him right off the veranda and then kick his sorry butt all the way to the street. Can I please get a break from all the talk about the iPod? People! People! People! At best, this is a good mid-fi device. There are several more manufacturers making superior devices and not asking as much money.

One thing about Apple you can say is that they continue along the same line as far as making mid-fi technology and asking too much money. Their computers are not bad if you don't mind pay exorbitant prices for 2 year old technology. If you want to spend too much money, buy an average "MP3" sound device and be tied to iTunes for your downloads, please rush out and purchase one of the silly things. And yes, Applenazis, a Macmini purchase is being considered. It will be easier for me to part you from your money if I know the Apple operating system which they ripped off from FreeBSD.

Just did a Google search for Zen vs. iPod and got 121,000 hits. The few articles I read favor the Zen because of easy usage, dependability and sound quality. The final word? Never did like apple pie and may swear it off permanently.
