Does Someone Named George Really Work for NVidia?
Geeks and gamers now have a new goal provided by NVidia. Can you believe a motherboard that supports 3 video cards? Oh yes, the nForce 780i will inspire lust in the hearts of gamers everywhere. This has to be a cooling factor nightmare. Can you imagine 3 cards stacked and the heat produced? Just added an extra gooseneck fan to help with cooling in my gaming machine and turned the speed of the side mounted fan to the highest setting. It's better. This 3 video card array is screaming, "WATER COOL ME!" Or maybe even add an air-conditioning unit to the case.
If I had plenty of money this would be tempting. Just look at how close those cards are stacked! Think if we put wings on it that Mach 1 can be accomplished before burnout? This is...a Twilight Zoner? You have to give NVidia credit for creative engineering.
Can you imagine the think tank that arrived at this decision?
"Well, George, what do we do next?"
George replies, "Let's put 3 video cards on one motherboard! Yehhhhhh! That's the TICKET!! And I'll give one to my wife...uh...uh...Morgan Fairchild!"
"Work that up for me George and have the drawings on my desk and a prototype built no later than Christmas."
Technology is a remarkable thangy.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
