Quiz and Dave's Site

Often people inquire where I search for computer advice, fixes, tips, etc. That list is long and plans are in the works to re-establish the Cybersouth Links List. Reconstruction is a neverending story around the beach house and the List is one of many projects. Please bear with me. Certainly, sharing great web pages is NOT a problem. With the price of fuel at an all time ridiculous, outrageous high it is far more efficient to seek help online or over the phone. So, email or call me!

A really great great site is Dave's Computer Tips. Nice page design that is easy to navigate. DCTs covers many areas and is well written in English. Thinking about a Linux adventure? Joey's article about installing Ubuntu 8 is about as good as it gets. Carol, expert in Office software help, is well versed in things Microsoft and has a wealth of knowledge about Open Office (remember, Open Office is free!). The newsletter is a free subscription, but you can donate. Donations are encouraged! Dave does not overwhelm you everyday. Every month or so he sends an update about new features, articles and so forth.

Please be safe out there and think about car pooling. You'll be glad you did when the price of gas goes to 5 bucks a gallon. BTW, the main reason the score is high on this test is because I am old enough to remember when fire burned someone for the first time. Lucky guesses helped too. And I cheated. A little...okay, okay - I googled 3 answers. Sheesh! Never expected to have ONLY 3 wrong!
