Came home for lunch and then passed it up. Why? Because a festive yellow box awaited full of one of the best things in the whole wide world. King Cake! Verdana (one of my two daughters) and Dr. Uncle Snake live close to Baton Rouge and several of us local folk get King Cakes around Mardi Gras from their local bakery Wholly! Donuts. This year she decided on the praline and pecan flavor and it is marvelous! Now excuse my lardass...going back for another taste!
