Besides the "W" sticker (TY Uncle Snake & Verdana) on the rear window, the crippled leadsled has one more banner on it. A small, round Sun Studios emblem is on the rear bumper. Brother Dan gave this to me several years ago. Just the other day Wired News ran an article about the history of this Memphis, TN, landmark. Very entertaining if you are into Rock n Roll music. Many interesting facts such as the "voice" Sam Phillips just had to record. Yes, he is a Mississippian and no, he's not Elvis! Great stuff. Check it out at
Sun Shines Light on Music History
The Ace of Chevrolet mechanics is on the way to investigate the current glitch in the operating system of the El Camino. Must go make sure there is Diet Mountain Dew and coffee. Later y'all.
