For children young and old

After much surfing and searching, a way has been found to watch the movie trailer for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. DON'T go to the Yahoo site unless you want spyware. They have you install what looks like a harmless plug in and it is malware. Yahoo sucks. So sad to see a site that offers some good content ruin a Net experience by being in bed with the thiefware thugs. To make it worse they are responsible for 31% of Claria/Gator/GAIN/whatever their name is this hour income!!! So if you Yahoo, I say BOOHOO.

This trailer really isn't much of a spoiler. Nice graphics, but it has no screen shots, etc. Try H2G2 the Movie for all that. Nice site full of information, very fast and easy to navigate. If a superfan be sure and check out the Vogon Version. Not an initiate in this crazy world of scifi and great humor? Try DouglasAdams.com. These strange, wonderful downright whacky books are found in most geek libraries around the world. Funny stuff. On the jackets of books 4 and 5 Mr. Adams wrote 'they are the fourth and fifth books in the trilogy'. LOL! That cracks me up.

Another movie that will play soon is yet another remake of the C.S. Lewis first book of the Narnia Chronicles, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. There's plans to make all the Narnia books into movies. Being filmed in New Zealand this is a GREAT and WONDERFUL tale written by a respected Christian theologian. I hope the film folks do it justice. So far the other versions have been weak. The director has said he will stick to the proper story line. Can't wait to see my first movie with the purplegiraffe and this may be perfect. Great literature that teaches good moral values. And hey, it's not just for kids.

"When you read a book as a child, it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does."
Kathleen Kelly, from You've Got Mail

BTW: Happy birthday "Daddy Dan" West!!! Be sure and check your email!
