It has been mentioned on several occasions that COMCAST is a bottom feeding poor excuse for a business. Their internet service in this area has great speed, but the lack of manners in customer support is downright sinful. If you are in the Tupelo area and ever call for service be sure and ask if the person is in Huntsville, AL. If the person on the other end of the phone conversation is named Renee, hang up immediately. She's the Devil. N there's no IFs ands or buts about that fact!!My distaste for this bunch is the result of several different matters, but I really despise them for decimating TechTV, the greatest TV channel that has ever existed, bar none. For a few hours a day I could catch up on tech news, learn new and exciting things and enjoy really good geek humor. They killed it and have tried to force a "channel" called G4 down our nerd throats. It didn't work. The "channel" is horrible and they keep forcing that Kevin Pee-rahrah baboon on us. He is awful. Irritating does not begin to describe...hold it, this has been hashed over too many times.
Well, the FCC had COMCAST nailed for blocking internet activities of their customers. The court slapped them on the hand saying they were guilty and then adjourned. No fines, no penalties, just a slap. Right here I have to pause and not raise hell about our idiotic court system. Hey, as bad as it is we still have the best structured system on the planet. As least we don't have middle east like laws where men can still kill their wives, etc. I'll cease and desist with the tirade that is trying to escape from my feeble mind.
