Keeping up with the transition of television standards? Analog signals (the NTSC standard that has been around since the beginning of TV) were due to change to the new digital formats (HDTV or SDTV) in early 2009. The FCC ruled that the analog signal will be broadcast alongside the new standards until 2012. You can read about it at ArsTechnica.


It's raining. We need it. Temps are dropping some and the weekend is supposed to be pleasant. This will be a great time to cut the lawn since it has grown a foot since we finally have rain again. Shucks, need that push mower waltz to help lose weight. The drought appears to be over. Time to finish laundry and then sleep! Stay casual.
