Hardware failures are inevitable. They will happen. The machine being used to make this post has two video cards for enhanced performance and one of them failed recently. It has a lifetime warranty. After going to the XFX site and acquiring a RMA number the card was sent to them last Thursday. They messaged me today and said the replacement is on the way.
Dealing with support people is usually a nightmare. Not so with these folks. They are polite, have a remarkable ability to use the English language correctly, and certainly have their minds on business. The turn around being less than a week is another added bonus. Yes, it's nice to be treated with courtesy and respect.
Eddie and Joe at Computer Universe on Main Street just east of THE crossroads in Tupelo are local retailers for this product line. They have reasonable prices and are courteous. Their store is always busy and people there smile a lot. They offer a variety of products and have a service department as well. Been around for a while too.
Nice to deal with people local and otherwise that don't seem preoccupied with parking their camels, worshiping cattle and trying to piss us off so we will hang up and quit trying to resolve our computer problems. Thank you.
