Get the newest version of Firefox

This is the first Cybersouth post done with Linux SuSE 9.2. Blogger limits the tools that make for handy linking, italicizing, etc., but there's always HTML. Upgrading to version 9.2 helped me understand how to make the sound card work on this laptop. Now I have tunes in the background while chattering away. Nice.

Firefox, version 1.0.3, is now available. Highly recommend downloading this new version since there are major security patches included. The browser doesn't seem to have any apparent changes, but it's almost a gurantee we all need the security "fix." The spyware dungheads are working overtime to screw up our lives and that now includes Firefox. Also, AVG has an anti-virus flavor for Linux users. There are links in the list to the right.
