For a few hours last night it was nice to take time to visit with friends and fellow nerds at a LAN party sponsored by FeleciaB. She opened the doors to her spacious home and everyone felt welcome! Nice to see my family. They all attended for a while. It was an easy evening with a tremendous amount of laughter. Gaming was fun and the food was good too. Several people signed in from remote locations and played. Thanks to Beagle and Mudslingr for the loan of the grill. Thanks to Verdana and Uncle Snake for the drinks. A special thanks to Felecia for her hard work and all other supplies.Preparation was easy since Felecia had almost everything done. We set wireless, plugged in a 3COM switch and off we went to the world of Guild Wars. Ashy brought the new game AION and it looks like a winner. Apoc brought his Netbook and played on it. The quality was awesome. Marlin of Buckhorn sat up shop with his uber PC at the same table where I was located and marched through several quests. Ty Roneus came on his bike and seemed to enjoy the evening. Later in the night we actually spent time on the porch just talking and laughing. Gosh, what a kewl bunch of folks. Yes, I think a good time was had by all.
