I agree with most doubters that Guild Wars 2 won't be miraculously released the last day of August 2009. There is no further talk across the web about an early release date. Yet NewEgg still has the pre-order ad up on their site which states that the release date is 8/31/2009. I am a huge fan of NewEgg. They have good prices and super shipping policies. Just ask them not to ship by DHL. That's another story for another time. This release date may bear watching for a few days before making this purchase. I may try and contact someone at Guild Wars to see if this release date is correct. Will keep you posted. Link to the ad -

Have to do some research on parts before venturing out in this rainy day. It should be occasional showers and the temperature is nice. High today is expected to be in the 70s. Nice.

Amazon has a pre-order and their release date is 12/31/2010. Quite a difference. Thanks for the info!
