Many years ago I was introduced to a Windows utility program written by a fellow name Patrick Kolla. He lived in Germany. His program was and is dedicated to his girlfriend or someone he describes as the most wonderful girl on earth. She has to be understanding because Patrick must have logged some record hours programming during the past. I downloaded it, sent him a $20.00 donation on several occasions and still use the program on all my machines.

The latest version is still available for free download and he still accepts donations. He incorporated in Ireland several years ago and the rest is history. If you don't run SpyBot Search and Destroy, well, good luck keeping the bad guys at bay. The program has great depths and can perform many tasks other than zapping the spyware baddies. Version 1.6 has several improvements. The one that stands out is speed. He's cut the scan time in half. Awesome.
