Protection IV

PSGuard Removal Tip: Received an email recommending the Ewido Security Suite. There's a free version and an upgrade. It's downloaded and I'll keep you posted as to the findings. In the meantime, if you've used it and it works please use the comments or email.

SpywareBlaster is one of those really kewl programs that just lingers in the background like the secret service. When needed, it viciously attacks malware stopping the evil garbage in its tracks. It's all stealth mode; you have no idea it's happening. You might want to start at last Thursday's post and review if this is a first time visit.

Go to your DOWNLOADS folder and click on the SpywareBlaster icon. Let it install without changing any of the set pattern except putting an icon on the desktop. You need this to do your updates. Click next n click next n click finish. Then do the 'download the latest updates'. After you get the updates tell it to enable all protection. Close the program and remember to check for updates every other day.

Tomorrow we shall do the CCleaner dance. Have a positive Sunday.

"Let it be your constant method to look into the design of people's actions, and see what they would be at, as often as it is practicable; and to make this custom the more significant, practice it first upon yourself."
