Random Thursday - Darth Blues & Calhoun

In case you are wondering this is one of the climatic scenes just before Return of the Jedi (the last chapter of legendary 6 total films known as Star Wars for those cave dwellers out there) ends. If he'd only quoted Calhoun Tubbs, "Wrote a song about it! Wanna hear it? Here goes!"



Don't know about the legendary Calhoun Tubbs? David Alan Grier portrayed him back a few years ago on the TV SkitCom In Living Color produced by Keenan Ivory Wayans. Be forewarned, there's a bit of vulgar language, but nothing really awful. Check it out at YouTube

    Is that a Craftsman deepwell socket being used as a slide in the Calvin Tubbs video? Wow! That's what Lowell George (Little Feat) used. BTW, Jim Carrey is an excellent foil for Calvin.
